Clear Scope Definition
All Projects are defined by a clear scope of work in the initial agreement or quote. This includes page count, features, revisions, and deliverables.
Understanding how we manage project scope changes to keep your web design project on track, on budget, and stress-free.
Scope creep occurs when the magnitude of a project exceeds or "creeps" past the boundaries of its original goals and objectives. This results in additional work being performed without additional compensation - and it's one of the most common challenges in web design and software development.
⚡ The Bottom Line: Scope creep costs you time, money, and peace of mind. That's why we address it clearly and proactively from the start.
Adding pages beyond the agreed scope
Requesting endless design changes
Adding functionality mid-project
Content writing services not included
Account creation and management
New photos, slideshows, or galleries
All Projects are defined by a clear scope of work in the initial agreement or quote. This includes page count, features, revisions, and deliverables.
Any work requested outside the agreed scope will be treated as additional work and charged separately at our standard hourly rate of R420 per hour.
We will notify you in writing before commencing any out-of-scope work and seek your agreement on the additional cost and timeline impact.
If scope creep becomes excessive, we reserve the right to pause the Project and renegotiate the terms or scope.
